This photographer, pilot, mountaineer is my uncle’s son, and though I do not know him, by default he must be my second cousin or cousin once removed. I always forget how to tell which is which.
What he did was build his own plane and then use it to photograph Washington’s North Cascade range in winter. His new book was published 2 months ago. As these pictures are probably the closest I will get to a mountain top, I want to pass it along for others like me (closeted mountaineer wannabees who have no clue what it’s like) to enjoy these remarkable photos.
