Living in Heart

These moments in time were captured by an 11-year-old from a week-long camp for childhood cancer survivors (half of the campers currently undergoing treatment, half healthy survivors and/or siblings), and this year is the first ever they have chosen a HEART symbol for the center of camp.

According to my daughter, this was a moment of silence after the director talked about “how everybody was affected by cancer, either themselves or a sibling, and we took a moment to think of all the people that loved us during that time.”

Thank you Swati ~ The first time Carli showed it to me, I couldn’t stop the tears. I do hope you are well.
